Floyd Mayweather knocks out Victor Ortiz in controversial win

Floyd Mayweather began the fight strongly catching Ortiz with a few flash right hands. Ortiz was seeming to become frustrated, as Mayweather's defence withheld Ortiz from landing his combinations.

Mayweather then started to dominate the third round, putting Victor Ortiz on the back foot landing, good punches and it looked like Ortiz was getting a boxing lesson from the veteran.

In the fourth round Victor had Mayweather backed up on the ropes, but frustratingly not landing hes combinations as he stepped back, Ortiz quickly jumped forward and headbutted Mayweather. The ref split them and deducted a point from Ortiz, Mayweather was angry and the crowd were shocked as ortiz seemed to loose it at that point in the fight. Ortiz apologised to Mayweather and as the Ref cortez acknowledged them to fight, he was looking away at someone beside the ring. Ortiz seemed to be apologising again as he put his hand out to half hug Mayweather. mayweather's bodylanguage didnt acknowledge that and he threw a powerful left hook and then straight right, knocking Victor out.

After the fight 80 year old boxing analysist Larry Merchant questioned Mayweather about his controversial win. Mayweather didnt appreciate this and was pissed.
He said "You never give me a fair shake, alright, so I am going to do you a favor and let you talk to Victor Ortiz," said Mayweather. 'You never give me a fair shake. You are shit and HBO should fire you. You don’t know shit about boxing. You ain’t shit.”
Larry Merchant quickly fired back saying “I wish I was 50 years younger. I would have kicked your ass.”

I dont think what Mayweather done was illegal because the ref did tell them to fight, however hes attention should've been on the fight and nowhere else, else.
